Garner Big Country Homes

Garner Big Country Homes is a local family owned and operated business that builds homes in Abilene and the surrounding areas. We can build on your land, or we have lots to choose from in several different subdivisions as well. We build in Abilene and throughout the Big Country such as Tuscola, Merkel, Clyde, and Potossi.

Garner Big Country Homes consists of husband and wife duo, Mason & Maegan Garner, Greg Teichelman and new this year is Mason’s Dad, Don Garner. Each team member is passionate about design, understanding clients’ needs and objectives, while providing great service from start to finish.

Mason enjoys being actively involved and hands on from start to finish on every house.  He ensures each build goes smoothly and efficiently.

After an honorable 23-year career with USAF, Don retired and joined the team at Incounters as VP of Production. He was there for 13 years where he gained a vast amount of experience in the world of construction, business, and customer service. Mason is happy to have his dad on the team to help oversee each build and day-to-day operations.

Greg oversees all budgeting, ordering and purchasing.  Greg also handles our vendor relationships and inventory. This is such a great advantage to have in house!!

Maegan is a full time Realtor with the Stacy Doby Team at Keller-Williams. Maegan also does the sales and walks you through the selection process and picking out your finishes to help bring your vision to life. You will also find Maegan’s Mom, Beverly, working at the office part time. Beverly is helping with accounting and invoicing.

Garner Big Country Homes focuses on about 25 houses per year. “That is a good number for us to be able to give our full attention on each build while still giving the personal attention to detail each house requires.” Mason said. We recognize and understand that building or purchasing a home is a major life decision and we make it easy to start building your dream home today.

“We love seeing our customer’s ideas come to life when we do a custom build or customizing one of our own floor plans to work for them,” said Mason. Customers will find a WIDE selection of tried-and-true floor plans to look at for ideas, customize or tailor to work for them.

In their free time Mason, Maegan, Don and Greg along with their families enjoy hunting, fishing and all things outdoors. Outside of building, Mason breeds & raises show pigs at Underdog Genetics. He is very passionate about working with the youth and teaching them responsibility and the accountability that goes into raising and showing livestock. Mason is a firm believer of the life lessons and values that can be taught from working with your hands.
